François-Régis Gaudry of the French radio station France Inter interviewed some of the stars of the bread baking revolution in France on his show On Va Déguster (literally, “let’s taste now”) on March 13, 2011: Jean-Philippe de Tonnac, author of the Dictionnaire Universel du Pain, or “Universal Bread Dictionary” (not yet out in English) and contributor to The Rambling Epicure site, and Gontran Cherrier, a young, ambitious innovator in the world of bread today, who is extremely amiable, and open to influences outside France and traditional bread baking (you hear Buddha Bar music on his site, just to give you an idea). Cherrier is a a good communicator, helping get the word out on this newish movement.
